Muslim Life at Wake Forest University provides structured opportunities for Muslim and non-Muslim students, faculty, staff, and community members to engage with ideas from the broader Islamic Tradition.

We offer a wide variety of programs from weekly prayer services to more casual opportunities for Muslims to gather, as well as opportunities for interfaith engagement. Some of these are regular programs or services offered, while others may change from month to month. You are encouraged to subscribe to the Muslim Life Newsletter to stay updated on new programs and events!

The regular monthly programming offered is:

A weekly Jum’ah Prayer Service – Friday prayers will be offered weekly at the MSA lounge located at Collins Residence Hall (A002)

A monthly Dua Reflection Circle – an opportunity for students to gather together and reflect on what is happening in the world, what is happening in their own lives, and how they might be feeling about it. It is an opportunity to process and feel one’s emotions while being in community with other students doing the same thing. Ci

A monthly Structured Educational Presentation – Students, Staff, and Faculty are invited to attend a structured presentation and discussion about a topic relating to Islam. Some example topics are – Diversity in Islam, Qur’anic Figures Series, Islam and Ecology, Islam and Grief.
