Welcome to the homepage for Muslim Life!

Muslim Life at Wake Forest is a space for Muslims to receive support, advocacy, community and education. Muslim Life is open and affirming of all Muslims regardless of sect, interpretation, gender, sexuality, race, and ethnicity. The goal for Muslim Life on campus is to provide spaces where young Muslims can feel connected, affirmed, confident and supported in themselves and their Muslim identities, even as it intersects with other elements of themselves.

Regular programming, both educational and social, is offered for both Muslims students and those who are simply interested in attending. Educational programming seeks to engage students in religious reflection and critical thinking about their faith, how they connect with Islam, and what it means to be Muslim in the world. While social programming, such as dinners or game nights seek to create a sense of belonging and community for students. Religious services, such as Friday Prayers, and Holy Day observances are also offered.

Muslim Life has several branches, overseen by the Associate Chaplain for Muslim Life who conducts programming and events, both individually and in partnership with other campus organizations, in addition to serving as both advisor and supporter for the Muslim Students Association.

For students, the Muslim Students Association offers a student-led perspective to supporting Muslim students. The MSA hosts a variety of social and religious activities of its own and gives students a chance to form connections with other Muslims on campus and have a voice to what they think Muslim Life should look like on campus.
